As part of my research for my new book, 'The Bootmaker's Daughter - Maid of Kent', I needed to find an old map of Rochester covering Strood, Rochester and Chatham that showed the roads as they were in 1900, as there have been many changes made over the past 125 years. I bought this map which suited my needs perfectly and have added it here for the benefit of anyone who would like to see the layout of old Rochester.
