Thanks to Dr Christopher Morris, ex president of the now-defunct RAF Habbaniya Association, I have been permitted to add the detailed original 1947 colour map of RAF Habbaniya cantonment to my website. The coloured map, hand-tinted by Dr Morris and his wife, Susan, the original now residing at the RAF Museum Hendon, contains full details of the infrastructure, roads and facilities provided to all those servicemen and women who were posted at RAF Habbaniya throughout the life of the Station. To see maps that provide even greater detail of the roads, infrastructure and buildings at RAF Habbaniya, visit the RAF Habbaniya Official Maps page of my website.
